History
Hi I'm Kathy from Gift of the gab party shop
I've been a nurse for 14 years taking time off work to raise our two girls.
2003 It was time to think about going back to work.
I was sitting in the park with a friend discussing how we wished we had a fun job something we could look forward to each day and still be there for the children.
I've always been creative and loved colour.
I loved creating my daughters a magical Birthday party. Friends were always amazed by the amount of effort and enthusiasm that goes into everything I do.
That’s when I decided to put my creativity to work.
So I started Gift of the gab Party shop working from a small space at home, then I moved into my daughters room, then into my husbands TV room the family was not happy as I had taken over the whole house,
So then I decided it was time for a shop. And that was it!! I couldn’t make it happen quick enough! I couldn’t’ sleep at night as my mind was racing with all the possibilities.
I look forward to every day and love what I do and never think of it as work just my passion.

Delivery Information
We offer Cairns and surrounding suburbs including beaches, Port Douglas and tablelands.
Cairns and beaches area only on Saturdays for other areas please call to discuss.
We do except same day delivery if ordered before 12pm, if ordered after this time we will do our best and if we cannot deliver we will deliver the next day except Sundays and public holidays.
Port Douglas, Gordonvale, Tablelands is sent by courier Monday to Friday we will contact you with freight charges to these areas.
Interstate Gift basket Delivery via Australia post or Fastway cost to be advised please email or call us for a price.
We can’t guarantee a specific time for delivery, if it needs to be there at a certain time please call us to discuss.
